About Us

How we are helping  the environment.

Globally, we throw out about 1.3 billion tons of food a year, or a third of all the food that we grow. Canada throws away 35.5 millions tonnes of all food produced each year. Here at juicy organics our mission is to reduce our waste production and increase productivity, by doing that we are increasing sustainability. To us reducing waste and increasing sustainability means we are reducing methane emissions from landfills, lowering our carbon footprint, conserving energy and resources, preventing pollution involved in the growing, manufacturing, transporting, and selling food, and reducing the pollution involved in hauling the food waste to the landfills.

What we are doing to help.

To reduce our waste production we are using as much of the produce as possible. we do this by using our juice pulp to make YUMMY vegan muffins. When we can't use we add to our companies organic composting system that is later sold to grow organic crops

Why Organic

The organic way or the high way

Non organic foods  have chemicals such as fungicides, herbicides, and insecticides that are widely used in conventional agriculture and residues remain on and in the food we eat. non organic foods are also Genetically Modified which mean that there DNA has been altered in way that can't occur in nature or in traditional crossbreeding, most commonly done in order to be resistant to pesticides or produce an insecticide.

Organic foods to us means they are often fresher because it doesn't contain preservatives or are not genetically modified to make it last longer. Organic to us also means crops must be grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, bioengineered genes (GMOs), petroleum-based fertilizers, and sewage sludge-based fertilizers. we choose organic because if we are told not to have these chemicals under our kitchen sink then why should we be allowed to put on the food we eat.
